Bot added to your group

Admin adds @DrBurnBot to their Telegram group and grants admin permissions so it can post announcements.

Setup with /setupdrburn

Admin runs /setupdrburn and enters the token contract address. The bot fetches on-chain token details and locks permanently.

Trigger words activate the bot

When any member types a configured trigger word (ca, burn, buy, contract) the bot replies with token info and a Buy button.

User taps Buy

The checkout page opens in the browser. The user connects their Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack wallet and selects a SOL amount.

Jupiter routes the swap for best price. 0.5% SOL goes to Dr. Burn's infrastructure. 0.5% of the output tokens are burned on-chain via a real SPL burn instruction, permanently reducing supply.

Getting Started

Setting up Dr. Burn for your community takes less than two minutes.

Add @DrBurnBot to your Telegram group

Search for @DrBurnBot in Telegram or use the button at the top of this page.

Make the bot an admin

Go to your group settings, find Dr. Burn in the members list, and promote it to admin. The bot needs permission to send messages and media so it can post announcements and GIFs.

Run /setupdrburn as group admin or owner

Only group admins and owners can run /setupdrburn. The command will not work for regular members.

Send your token's contract address

The bot will prompt you for your Solana token CA. Paste the contract address and the bot fetches the on-chain details automatically.

Bot confirms and locks

The bot displays the token name, symbol, and details for you to confirm. Once confirmed, the contract address is permanently locked for that group. It cannot be changed afterward.

Share with your community

Pin the bot's first message or type a trigger word yourself to show the community the Buy button. You're live.

Requirements

Requirement	Details
Graduated Solana token	Any token that has fully launched on-chain is supported, including all pump.fun tokens that have graduated. Token 2022 standard fully supported.
Group admin or owner	You must be an admin or owner to run /setupdrburn and access the settings menu.
Bot admin permissions	Dr. Burn must be promoted to admin in your group to post announcements and media.

⚠️

Bonding curve tokens not yet supported. Tokens that are still in the bonding phase on pump.fun or similar launchpads cannot be set up with Dr. Burn yet. The token needs to have fully graduated and be tradeable on Jupiter before it can be used. Support for pre-graduation bonding tokens is planned for a future release.

Commands

All commands are used directly in your Telegram group chat. Admin-only commands are marked.

/setupdrburn Admin only

Configures Dr. Burn for your group. The bot will ask for your token contract address, fetch on-chain details, and lock permanently to that token. This can only be run once per group. After setup, running this command again opens the full settings menu.

/settingsdrburn Admin only

Opens the Dr. Burn settings menu directly. Use this as a quick shortcut to access all configuration options after the bot has already been set up. Identical to running /setupdrburn on an already-configured group.

/burn

Shows the total number of tokens burned via Dr. Burn in your group. Includes burns from community buys and dev burns submitted through the Dev Burn tab on the checkout page.

/devburn

Shows the total tokens burned by the registered creator or developer wallets. Displays all-time totals, the last 3 burn transactions with Solscan links, and the USD value at the current token price.

/burnleaderboard

Displays the top 10 burners this week and today's top 3. Updated in real time after every burn. The weekly leaderboard resets every Monday and the daily leaderboard resets at midnight UTC.

/burnleaderboardall

Same as /burnleaderboard with the addition of the all-time top 10 burners. All-time totals are cumulative and never reset.

/info

Displays the current bot configuration for your group: token name, contract address, total tokens burned, and a summary of active settings. Also available as /infodrburn.

⚙️ Settings

Settings

Settings are accessed via the interactive button menu. Run /settingsdrburn (or /setupdrburn on an already-configured group) to open the settings panel. As a group admin, tap any of the settings buttons in Telegram to configure your group. All options are presented as button menus — no commands to memorize.

🔤 Trigger Words

Words that cause Dr. Burn to reply with the token info and Buy button. Default trigger words are: ca, contract, burn, buy. You can add custom trigger words or remove existing ones at any time. The bot matches messages containing any configured trigger word.

📢 Announcements

Configure when and how buy announcements are posted. Set a minimum SOL amount so small test buys don't flood the chat. Set a whale alert threshold to give extra fire emojis to large purchases. Enable or disable the auto-announce interval, which periodically posts total burn stats even without a new buy. Intervals available: every 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, daily, or off.

🏆 Leaderboard

Toggle between weekly mode, daily mode, or both. The bot automatically posts the daily leaderboard at midnight UTC if there was burn activity that day. The weekly recap posts every Sunday at 22:00 UTC and includes the all-time top burners section.

👛 Creator Wallet

Register up to 3 developer or creator wallets. Dr. Burn monitors these wallets every 60 seconds for on-chain burn activity. When a registered wallet performs a token burn, the bot automatically announces it in your group with transaction details, USD value, and a Solscan link. Historical burns are scanned on registration.

🎬 Animations

Set a custom GIF or short video for buy announcements and for dev burn announcements separately. When prompted, simply send the GIF directly in Telegram chat and the bot will save it. You can update animations at any time from the settings menu.

Dr. Burn tracks every on-chain burn and ranks community members by the total amount of tokens they have burned. Leaderboard entries update in real time after every successful buy.

Only burns made through Dr. Burn are tracked on the leaderboard. On-chain burns from other tools are not counted unless made through the Dev Burn tab or a registered creator wallet.

The Creator Wallet feature lets admins register up to 3 developer or creator wallets. Dr. Burn continuously monitors these wallets for burn activity and automatically announces them to the group.

How to set a custom animation

Open the settings menu

Tap the settings button in any Dr. Burn reply as an admin and select the Animations option.

Select either Buy & Burn animation or Dev Burn animation.

Send your GIF

When prompted, send any GIF directly in the chat. The bot saves it immediately and uses it for all future announcements of that type.

The Dr. Burn difference: When your community buys through Dr. Burn, they pay the same 1% they would pay on any other Telegram bot or in-app swap, but 0.5% of that comes back as a permanent burn of your token. Every buy shrinks the supply. No other buy bot does this for your community's token.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dr. Burn safe?

Yes. Dr. Burn is fully non-custodial. You sign every transaction in your own wallet using Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack. Dr. Burn never holds, touches, or stores user funds at any point. The smart contract interaction is a standard Jupiter swap combined with an SPL burn instruction, both of which you sign and approve yourself.

Which tokens are supported?

All graduated Solana tokens are supported, including all pump.fun tokens. Both the legacy SPL token standard and the newer Token 2022 standard are fully supported.

Can the token CA be changed after setup?

No. The contract address is permanently locked after /setupdrburn completes. This is by design and protects your community from admin rug pulls. The CA cannot be changed under any circumstances once it has been confirmed.

Which wallets are supported?

Phantom, Solflare, and Backpack are all supported on the checkout page. The wallet list may grow over time.

Where does the fee go?

50% of the 1% platform fee covers Dr. Burn infrastructure and development costs. The other 50% is used to buy back and burn the community's own token, permanently reducing supply on every single trade. This means Dr. Burn is directly contributing to your token's tokenomics on every buy.

What is the Dev Burn tab?

The Dev Burn tab is a separate section on the checkout page where project developers can burn tokens they hold directly from their wallet. 99% of the tokens submitted are burned on-chain permanently. 1% goes to the Dr. Burn platform as a fee. Every dev burn is announced in the Telegram group automatically.

Does Dr. Burn work with pump.fun tokens?

Yes, fully supported. All pump.fun tokens use the Token 2022 standard by default and Dr. Burn handles this natively.

How do buy announcements work?

After every successful buy through Dr. Burn, the bot verifies the transaction on-chain and automatically posts an announcement in your group. The announcement shows the buyer's Telegram username (if available), the amount of SOL spent, the number of tokens received, the number of tokens burned, and the running all-time burn total for that group. A custom GIF or video plays with each announcement.

Can I set a minimum buy amount for announcements?

Yes. In the settings menu (accessible as an admin via the bot's button replies) you can configure a minimum SOL amount below which buys are processed normally but no announcement is posted. This prevents small test buys from cluttering the group chat.

Does the leaderboard track all burns?

The leaderboard tracks burns made by community members through the Dr. Burn checkout page. Dev wallet burns are shown separately via /devburn. Only buys made through Dr. Burn count toward individual leaderboard rankings.

Dr. Burn will never launch a coin, token, or any tradeable asset. Any token, presale, or NFT claiming to be associated with Dr. Burn is a scam. Do not interact with it.
Dr. Burn will never ask for your private key or seed phrase — ever, under any circumstances. Anyone who does is impersonating us. Report and block immediately.
